Testimonials

Dear Mitch,

Large a thank you for your speed, this morning I received via UPS my two modules which posed so many problêmes to you. I am really sorry to have been so insistent. Simplest in the future, it is directly to address to me to Simware Belgium. Your products are also sold there, but I nevertheless make a point of thanking you for your efficacity and your kindness. Large a thank you with all your team, which allow us to dream.

Yours sincerely
Guy Jadot

I want to thank you and goflight for your wonderfull support and for going above and beyond after my initial purchase of the TQ-6 you have made a permanant GoFlight customer out of me. I have a wish list for the holidays from my family :-) Another thing you guys might think about doing is adding a wishlist to your page so people can do similar things. I admit i bulked at first with the cost of the TQ-6 but I enjoy it and the support and creativity from GoFlight has been exemplary. So just wanted you to know I appreciate every thing you guys do.

Robert R. Dennard

Hi Mitch,

Thanks! I can't tell you how much GoFlight modules have added to my enjoyment of MS FlightSim. Or how much I respect the quality of the software programming in your products (I'm a senior QA professional currently working at SAP with previous clients including Apple, Adobe, WebMB and Ariba). Your interface to configure the modules is a work of art.

Thanks again,

Glen

Dear Mitch,

Thanks sooo much for your help modifying your RMK-166 units to suit my project.

You are a wonderful team at Go Flight. It really shows how much you care about your customers.

Hope that everything is good with you.

Cheers

Robert

Hi Mitch,

Normally I don't write comments like this as I think good service is the basis for a good company and something you can expect as a customer. But the service from GoFlight is outstanding in a way I never experienced before and far more than you ever can expect. It's really breathtaking. As the name says: GoFlight.

The Details:
About one month ago I noticed a tolerance in the movement of thrust lever 4 and as I ordered my TQ6 3 years ago and noticed that the warranty time ran out 2 years ago. I tried to fix the problem by myself. Upon detaching the unit, it became clear that the trottle arm was broken at the potentiometer connection. I called GoFlight. John immediately understood the problem and sent a complete arm device (throttle, reverser and potentiometer) which arrived few days later - free of any charge (!). I just soldered it in and my TQ6 worked pretty well as usual and I was really glad about this service.

But this was only the beginning....
About 4 weeks later thrust lever 1 had the same fate. Hmm... my considering was to ask GoFlight if they could sell me the remaining 5 of these arms for a complete exchange and another 3 or hopefully more years of flying without problems. Mitch's comment about my idea: "We will send you a complete new unit - free". It does not happen very often that I am without speech. I could not believe this! The metal case and the lever sticks are ok, so after some short clarifying we reduced it to the inner part (plate with arms) which arived one week later. It not only arrived. It really arrived with NO CHARGE, not even for the transport! Its unbelievable.

So I just can thank you, Mitch and John for your assistance and immediate help and support without any discussion, even 3 years after purchase. And if you ever decide to produce 747-400 components, I exactly know where to buy them.

Peter (from Germany)

Hi Mitch,

1st and foremost I want to say thank you. You have done something nice for me that hasn't happened in a long time. I want to say a big thanks to you. I couldn't be more pleased with the products I have bought from your company. I truly am grateful for you to have offered what you did for free. If I can do anything for you let me know.....Thanks again. I got my shipment today. You made a grown man cry today, Mitch.

Thanks

Dear Mitch:

I meant to write to you weeks ago but got overwhelmed with my trip to the UK and the return to my office in DC where it's been a pressure cooker for the whole of August.

In any event, I would like to reiterate my thanks to you for the replacement MCP PRO and let you know that it does work very nicely. I use it all the time for FS2004 and fly the PMDG 747-400 beautifully with the PRO. The unit emulates the real Boeing autopilot very well indeed and is a pleasure to use. It has a real WOW! factor that just thrills guests who see my set-up.

I shall take a few pix of my FS2004 set-up here and email them to you. I think you'll be impressed when you see the pix and the GoFlight equipment featured.

Thanks for handling this return and replacement. Thanks also for sending me the support brackets and screws. They were important details and are most welcome. I am sure I'll be back at some point with a request for some more of your very good flightsim hardware.

Hope your summer has gone well.

Cheers,
Jonathan

MITCH YOU CANT' IMAGINE HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE YOUR KIND GESTURE . YOU ANSWERED MY EMAIL ON SUNDAY AND I WAS VERY SURPRISED ; AND APPRECIATIVE OF YOUR INTEREST. YOU MANUFACTURE A GREAT PRODUCT AND TOP IT WITH GREAT PERSONALIZED SERVICE TO YOUR CLIENTS.

MY MOST SENCERE THANKS,
JOSE

Thanks for the free throttle levers and for shipping them off together with no extra shipping costs. You really have a very good reputation which is fully justified and you too sir, are a gent. I thank you again in advance and I will definitely be doing more orders with you in the future.

Thanks again Mitch for all your help

Tony Bond

What can I say Mitch but, yet again, thanks for all your help and understanding over this order. Companies like GoFlight are few and far between where they go that extra effort to help and keep their customers satisfied.

Thanks and speak to you again

Tony Bond

Mitch,

Hi Mitch,

I hope that you are having a good weekend.

I couldnt wait to tell you that I have done my first try of testing and the 7 segment displays on the RMK are so bright now, I dont know what you have done but the baby is shining : )

The 7 segment displays are not showing properly but I am pretty sure it will be just some wiring on my part, hopefully.

I will meet my friend tomorow and I will let him analyse the wiring.

Thanks again so much. You have no idea how much it is appreciated!

Cheers

Robert

Thank you Mitch,

I think I will create another page on my website for the best service award ; ) and it will be dedicated to your great service and support

Cheers Mate

Mitch:

This just gets better'n better...!

I just installed the MCP Pro interface from PMDG and flew the 747-400 exactly as in real life with the GF hardware for 45 minutes from takeoff using an FMC generated flightplan. It works unbelievably well and is very exciting. I have not tested it fully with every MCP function but so far, so good. I am tremendously impressed and delighted with the fidelity of the product with another superlative add-on for FS2004.

I am making some observations about how the MCP works in conjunction with FS2004 and various MCP-compatible add-ons and when I have fully tested in every phase of flight, I shall email you with the results.

Regards,

Jonathan

Thanks, Mitch.

The MCP Pro is working fabulously in general. I have used it for 6 hours today on several default aircraft, the add-on A340-600 (really outstanding), and am now on a real-time 11 hour flight from KSEA to Tokyo RJAA in the Level-D where it works even better than with the default FS2004 aircraft. I am very impressed. The functionality is superb and if I never use it on any other complex add-on, this is pretty darn fantastic.

Have a great weekend and thanks for getting this wonderful device to me.

Cheers,

JS

Mitch,

I received the GF-TQ6 yesterday. Thanks for shipping it so quickly to me, I appreciate that. As for the throttle, you were right...it is the coolest thing I've ever bought for my flight sim. I knew it would make a difference, but after completing my first flight with it I was just amazed at the difference it truly does make. The feel of it is precise and smooth. I noticed the difference as soon as I started to taxi. The throttle makes it so easy to control speed because you actually have full range on the levers. And landing with the reverse thrust switches was so cool! Everything about this thing is outstanding!

Thanks for the throttle, I will tell everyone I know to buy one now. Worth every penny.

Hmmm, looking at those rudder pedals now...
I may never see my wife again... (oh well)

"Got the throttle today. I am now the king of the skies! Thanks to you and the wonderful people at GoFlight. The products and people stand behind what they say and produce. I am a loyal customer and appreciate and look forward to buying more products.

Thanks so much!

"I must say, honestly, that GoFlight is one of those marvelous products that simply transforms flightsim from a simple hobby or "game" (terrible word for FS!) into a sophisticated and challenging activity with a great deal of reality immersion. There is just something about touching the GF equipment that instantly makes it all feel more real and more exciting. The fact that it also works with Level-D 767 is a big plus and I have even got LNAV and VNAV to work flawlessly so far on the older style GF MCP.

I am going to order another radio module and something else soon. Gotta fill up those blank plates on the pedestal !

Cheers,

JS"

"I've only just got in after a 5hr night of absolutely terrifying flying.....and I'm mentally wrecked and numb.....

Honest, tonight I didn't think I would get back alive after a night of flying through some of the worst storm cell activity at 10,000 feet with lighting everywhere, aircraft instrument warnings going off, and finally getting there only to fly a back into heavy clouded-rain storms on finals. Then we have the Com Radios go dead.

Compound that with a pilot low on command hours and in a steep learning curve that I think was freaking him out ...let alone, me.

I diplomatically advised the pilot after the first 1/2 hour of flying that we should consider turning back but he seemed determined to press on....so I suggested to contact ATC centre and have them evaluate the storm activity and see if we had options that we could fly around.

The chief pilot suggested to me that it would be a good idea for me to go along and check that he did things right. He figured the two of us together would be fine. However, prior to landing I seriously considered leaving him sleeping at the airport with the frogs and catching a train back home and letting him do what ever.

I'm not planning on talking to him until sometime next week....and certainly won't be flying with him anymore.

I prayed and asked God to forgive me for being such a reckless schmuck....

I learned one hell of a lot about aviation and flying in general tonight. I learned that in aviation anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Count on it. And the very worst offender is complacency itself. It will surely kill a pilot faster than anything else. And the importance of setting up a decent procedural flight trainer with Goflight equipment and radio modules to recreate the heavy work load associated with flying? That will teach you how to survive!

I mean, we were in 40 degree + bank angles in a second, apart from some quick instrument scanning to re-correct it.

I was having to help the guy by pointing out how to re-intercept VOR out-bound Nav radial. I could see he was struggling with being disoriented.... again Flight Simulator drums that one in to you!

I had to jump on the garmin GPS trimble at a crucial point in the flight, re-program vital waypoints that weren't in the GPS flight plan for the 14DME arch arrival around a large mountain range, while flying through solid thunder clouds so that we could line up for the ILS approach (which is another horrendous story), all the while being severely bounced around. It was only for the fact tonight I studied my own Garmin GPS before I went out that enabled me to work the damn GPS trimble.

The pilot was overwhelmed...and way, way too close for comfort....he aged me 10 years tonight, the bastard!

When I wake up later today I am going to see a therapist to see if I can get rid of the stutter!"

John Krieg and the GoFlight Team,

"Hello John,

In these times of manufacturers providing poor (if any) product/customer support, you guys are a breath of fresh air. To summarize my experience with GoFlight, about two years ago I purchased a GoFlight MCP Advanced Autopilot and shortly after receiving it I noticed that the unit would suddenly change some of the settings such as course, altitude or airspeed without any input from me. The problem was intermittent at best and would only happen perhaps once in 10 to 15 flights. At that time I contacted GoFlight technical support and informed them of the problem. I was told that GoFlight was aware of the bug and was working on it and I should contact them again at a later date.

The problem with my unit seemed to subside somewhat and would only happen once out of every 20 to 30 flights, so I decided that I could live with that. About a month ago, the problem came back with a vengeance and seemed to happen on almost every flight. I called GoFlight and spoke with you and you gave me an RMA number and suggested that I return the unit for repair. I was shocked that you would honor the warranty after over two years but I returned the unit as instructed.

Today, I received a brand new replacement MCP Advanced Autopilot from GoFlight at no charge. Again, I was shocked and most pleasantly surprised.

You guys have taken customer support to a new level !!

Thank you so much.

"Mitch, I received my equipment yesterday. Thank you very much! I flew
on vatsim last night and it was a joy being able to use physical controls instead
of mouse clicks! It made me more efficient as well. Awesome product, great service.

Now if I could just find some maglabels for my 166

Thanks Again!

Craig."

"Hi Mitch,

"To: Mitch at GoFlight Inc.

Hi Mitch.

I just don't have words to express your kindness. Repairing this TQ6 for me has so much meaning to me. I just have so much admiration for your company. I don't, at least to my knowledge, know of any other company that does the kind of things you guys are willing to do. If I ever, and I do speak with other flight simmers, they and the public will know as a customer there is no other company like yours. Unbelievable how generous and kind you are willing to work with your customers. None can compare! I will be sending a testimonial letter via e-mail to GoFlight. Thank you! Thank You!

Michael Jones"

"The TQ6 works extremely well with the PMDG, and any other plane in FS9. I recently added the new GF-ATC module as well which is also very nice. I got one of the very first releases of the TQ6 and it had some quality problems - handle mounts got too loose, wires broke, too awkward changing handles. GoFlight, however, is simply superb at customer support and has replaced my original unit at no cost with a brand new re-designed one that has fixed all the original problems.

Another problem with GoFlight equipment has been the sensitivity of the trim wheel on the LGT module. That got a lovely fix in the latest release of their software and now you can adjust the sensitivity of the wheel.

In summary, I highly recommend anything from GoFlight - well made, well supported, and reasonably priced. These guys are really clever and nice. Delighted I had a chance to meet them at AVSIM.

Rob Gordon"

"To Whom It May Concern:

Enclosed you will find a (mildly defective) TQ6 Throttle Quadrant which I am returning to you per your request in exchange for a new TQ6 (which I have already received and is working perfectly, I might add!)

Also, you will find enclosed, a recently purchased GF-46 module. I purchased it unaware that the software (for the GF-46) was not supported in Fly!2, hence, did not work at all for my simulator. Upon contacting your organization they assured me that I may exchange it for a GF-166 (which is of comparable price) as soon as I returned the GF-46.

Finally, I want to commend GoFlight on providing sim-users with such a vastly superior product, time and time again. The unsurpassed quality of your product is only exceeded by your amazing, professional, and incredibly helpful staff. Your organization is truly an example of what all organizations should strive to become. To date, I have purchased close to $2000.00 worth of your products, and your services make me look forward to spending $2000.00 more in the near future.

Blue skies,

Anthony C. Williams"

"Hi Doyle,

I just received the TQ6 you sent me and I plugged it in. It works great!!! No issue whatsoever. Also I would like to post a thank you message in the forum and our mailing list, in the Greek flight simmers forum, online flyers, etc...in order to show my appreciation regarding your response and replacement so do I have your permission to do that? I really would like to thank you in public for excellent support.

With regards, a happy customer.

"Dear Mitch,

I just wanted to take a second and say a HUGE thank you!!!! The kind support that you and your associates have provided me is just not seen in today's marketplace anymore.

While I am sorry I couldn't get the GF-46 to work on my system, you went above and beyond to try and help me get it fixed.

I am a satisfied customer.

William Nash"

"I just wanted to take a moment and commend your company for producing a product that met the billing the ads portrayed. I could not be any more pleased. The ease of set up and configuration was simple and complete. The system works flawlessly with my MS 2004 Flight Simulator.

I purchased the product to practice for my upcoming instrument training. This has proven to be an excellent training tool that is both affordable and accurate. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking to learn instrument procedures.

Thanks again,
